Story

Doc Dyson and his wife, Elizabeth, moved to the Mt. Washington Valley from Hanson, Massachusetts, in 2016, after she retired as a full-time Episcopal priest. No strangers to the area, they had vacationed in the White Mountains for more than 30 years.

Previously Doc was a real estate agent in Hanson and Plymouth, MA. Previous to that, Doc started and grew his own company supplying presentation materials to businesses and schools. As a people person, Doc also was a tour guide and trolley driver navigating the streets of Boston.

“I like real estate because you meet and help people,” Doc says. “The rental market in the greater Mt. Washington Valley is tight. It’s harder to find people the right rental as opposed to a home to buy. Whether they’re looking for a rental that’s seasonal or a long term, there are 10 times as many people seeking as there are properties for rent. I’m always up for a challenge and find it very rewarding to be able to satisfy both the landlord and perspective tenant. I have to admit that it’s not just my efforts that accomplish things but the team effort that all the people at Badger exhibit.”

David’s main mission is to match the best candidate with the best property. “My responsibility is to find the perfect tenants who are going to respect and care for our owner’s properties as if they were their own. We want our owners to continue to have a positive relationship with our firm for years to come, be it to rent their property or sell it later if they choose. It’s all about a long-term relationship with the landlords and tenants”.
