It was clean and had very attentive staff. Unlike other Korean bbq places I have been to before, this place cooks for you. Not good or bad, just different. It was a great experience. Dinner for 2 is about $100. We took our one year old and had a great time. It's kid friendly but there is a hot grill in the middle of the table so you need to be mindful. Kid-friendliness: It was a fun place for kids. They have high chairs etc. Not a place for a picky eater that only wants chicken nuggets.
We had a great experience at Baekjeong. We went on a Saturday night at 5:15 and the wait time was about 40 minutes which was reasonable. Our server, Phillip, was attentive and made sure our meat was cooked properly and we had refills on the sides dishes. He was great at explaining everything. We had the thinly sliced beef brisket, seafood pancake, and a lunch box. The quality of the beef was very good. The pancake was cooked perfectly, especially the squid. Often times it's overcooked and the squid is chewy and rubbery. Lunch box was delicious and fun to shake!
We welcomed a visit here recently. Enjoyed the experience of it all. Plenty of parking. Located outside the mall. You have options of cooking your own food, or the service staff can help you cook. Inside is very spacious and loved the cooking of the scrambled eggs. Tasted yum. I plan to return here soon again. A must for return visits. Parking: Lots of parking Wheelchair accessibility: Location and parking are wheelchair accessible.
I had been Baekjeong in CA and loved it. It was great to see it in WA. Earlier we were worried about service after reading google review. but I didn't notice any issue. even it was better than any other places. Food was perfect. I felt I went to my home town and visited one of the best Korean bbq places. Kimchi was authentic and the taste was like my mom made. I also really like the store decor. some part of it is very Korean Style and some part is US style. I would definately go there more often.
We went there yesterday Thursday 6:30 pm and the wait time is around 1.5-2 hours. There’s a mall around so we wandered for 1.5 hours and it’s ready. The service is actually very good but the meat quality is not that good as expected. Hopefully they can get improved later.
Great food, reasonable priced. I specifically enjoyed the service. The server changes the grill pan often and do most of the BBQ cooking for us. Recommend to come with larger group 4-6 people
Excellent and high quality food, although very expensive. I ordered the dolsot bibimbap meatless for my vegetarian girlfriend, pork belly, and beef . The service was great, particularly from our servers SeungHee and Will! Next time, I want to try a combo and the yukhoe.Food: 5/5
Finally, some good quality kbbq in the Lynnwood area. Went here on a weekday with a friend. The wait wasn’t long at all, just 10 minutes after putting our names on the waitlist we got a text saying our table was ready. Front-of-house staff greet you with a hearty “annyeong hasaeyo” upon entering which is a new type of hospitality that I didn’t expect from local kbbq in Lynnwood. Our table was already set up with all the banchan when we sat. Our server was Seunghee. She grilled nearly all of our meat for the entirety of the dinner and was very easy to talk with. While giving us stellar service, she was also balancing between serving 3 other tables which I thought was really impressive. When your server is occupied, other members of staff will check and cook your meat for you in order to ensure your meat is cooked perfectly. My only complaint is that the table was just a little small so it felt crammed when we ordered the seafood pancake and the kimchi stew. Otherwise, I’m very happy with the experience and can’t wait to come again :
After reading the reviews I felt there were some unjust reviews and frivolous good ones. This place is pretty good, but I must say I came mid-week so the wait was pretty minimal. Still, it was busy. The staff is courteous, but there should be more, especially if the expectation is for the waitstaff to cook the table food, which, if you are a fan of korean BBQ, you should learn to manage the grill to your preference. The banchan is lackluster and on the sweet side, but that's pretty standard in America. My kimchi stew either had boiled down too long or was the bottom of the pot. Too much onion, not enough broth, but the flavor and spice were on par. Weekend goers, expect a wait, and if you truly expect your waiter to man your grill, expect to be disappointed. They do not have enough staff for that. Otherwise, the food is decent and staff is friendly.
We had a wonderful time here. Only waited 15 minutes at 8pm on Friday night. Sever was great and all the meat was delicious. We four of us had the large pork and beef combo. Was a great time chatting over an hour or so, enjoying the bbq and soju. Would love to come back.Food: 5/5
