Very cute place! Menu is pretty basic, but has all the breakfast essentials. Service seems a little slow even though it wasn't that busy, but I would still recommend it!

Came in tired, almost to the point where you just wanted to go get in bed, but knew you needed to eat. I am so grateful we did bc we were served the very best food I have had in a relaxing atmosphere in a while. The people are great, will be coming back !!

Love the antiquated atmosphere and the well over 4000 tea pots were a conversation piece. Service was excellent.! Waitress was so nice and personable. But the food was out of a container or a can. I couldn't finish it it was so basic. Chicken breast was processed frozen pattie so the food was  not good. I could've have created this dishes from scratch at home as well as up to resteraunt standards

Traveling through the area, visiting from California.  The Bailey Cafe was recommended to us by a local.  Food was good, service was great-- true southern hospitality.  Cafe is decorated, floor to ceiling, with a fascinating collection of teapots.

Food was good. Only one waitress and she did the best she could. Here's my complaint. Ordered 3 slices of cake and the portions were average size.  As I was paying waitress at counter the owner was putting another cake in the case and he told the waitress she was serving oversize portions, that he did not want the portions wider than the serving utensil. He even demonstrated with the serving utensil.  When she commented that it was okay the cake was for me, he responded "I don't' care, I don't even give my mother a slice that big".  Is this really how he feels about his customers?  Scott Mason from WRAL will be in the restaurant in a couple of days to sign books. Wonder how big his slice of cake will be?
