Such a great museum. My 7 year old son and I went when he had a day off from school. Usually when I go into a museum I get crazy looks bringing my kid with me. My son really enjoys history and me explaining things to him. Anyway, they were very welcoming. They answered all of my questions and did not treat me any different than if I had gone alone. There is a lot of great information here, one could easily spend a couple hours exploring and reading all of the newspapers and artifacts. My son really enjoyed seeing what an old school house looked like and how the children learned back then. I really enjoyed the WWII room. So much great information in this building. I cannot wait to bring my history friends to this museum!

Immensely moving and thought provoking. A wonderful tribute to the brave American citizens put in camps for being non white. Very similar to the build the wall movement today. The docent was knowledgeable and so friendly. This is a must see for history lovers visiting the Seattle area.

Took a friend doing a study abroad at UW from Japan and we were very interested in the Japanese history. So much I didn't know after living here for 8 years!
