Tremendous work done by Kim Alden to make our dreams come true buying  The Cherry Tree Inn Bed and Breakfast in Woodstock.  She answered textstexts messages every time I needed! Kim made  the transition from Fl as effortless as possible. I can't speak for the real estate side of the business, but I had my closing at the title company side of this business when I bought a house this year. Please, if your closing is scheduled here, demand to go anywhere else. The closer was not prepared even though we arrived early. She did not follow up with the lender for hours, so by the time our closing started, there was discrepancy in closing costs between B&W and the lender. After sitting here for four hours while the closer clumsily tried to work with the lender to fix the problem, we ran out of time and had to close the following Monday. If she had just done her job, the issues could have been cleared up any time during the 6 business hours before our closing.

This caused major headaches for us, because we had a flooring delivery scheduled for the weekend and had to work with the seller to get access to the home before we owned it.  I have heard other horror stories from people dealing with this closer as well.

For contrast, the closing on the sale of our condo took literally 1 hour at a dedicated title company.

We have called on Carol on two occasions to help us - once to sell a home and once to buy. We have seen her in action.  She is an energetic agent with a wealth of experience.  She never fails to come up with an idea to make your home more marketable or if you are looking to buy, a way to find a possible seller.
Most recently she found a home for us that was just what we were looking for.  After weeks and months of searching the area, she got us a showing for a home that was a new listing.  Because she was aggressive in getting a showing for us, we were the first ones to see it and we were able to submit an offer right away.  
Because of her experience Carol also was able to recommend a painter, and a moving company.  She also knew our atttorney.  That was  helpful, and it made the process go a little smoother.
Overall I rate her very high because of her knowledge of real estate, her people skills, her negotiating skills, and her contacts in the trades.
