Mexican deli food to go and cheap prices make this grocery store a great place to stop for groceries, lunch or dinner in Altadena. Great meat selection and good produce section. All the staples and cold beer to boot. Local Guide Tip: They have the best fresh papaya you've ever tasted.

Love the live butcher. We needed a roast for Christmas, pavilions and Ralph's were out. I told my daughter let's go to the ranch they went in the back right out part of the cow and cut out just what we wanted. They went above and beyond. The service was excellent!!!!!

If you need a quick bite to eat highly recommended the prices in the market are very overpriced

Everything is great except that when its time to check out they only have one cashier most of the time and it creates a big line. Needs to be better supervised. Prices on some products have gone up and seem to keep going up every half a year.

Carne asada is great. I get the carne asada unprepared and have them prepare or season it right there and than.
