It's the largest Electrical Contractor in Des Moines. Although they're a union shop, they don't treat their employees well, and employee retention is a serious issue for them. I would not work for them again, and would not hire them for my electrical needs.

They answer, even in the middle of the night. I will only use them exclusively as my electrician for life. I think I called at 330 or 4 in the morning. They are quite punctual as well and kind. What's not to like?! :) #happy

Baker Electric needs to concentrate on their employees and retaining them.  Their mentality leaves much to be desired.  Hopefully, one day they will realize how valuable their employees are before service truck and field personnel leave the company.  Good employees make a business or officers and office staff would be in the field performing the requests of the customers.  From experience I can attest this group does excellent work!
