I have known this lawfirm of Rex Baker and Carolyn Gilchrist for many years (decades, really).  I have seen them evaluate cases for mutual clients, have seen them work on and complete cases, and they are always extremely well prepared and professional.  I recommend them whole-heartedly, and without reservation.  I have seen them settle cases, and I have seen them go to trial on cases, and I have read appeals they have been involved with.  They are the real deal.  The whole package.  Honest, prepared, diligent, and ethically zealous advocates for their clients.  They lead their clients through the law, and they do it very very well.  I can choose to refer my clients to any attorney to assist my clients in medical malpractice cases.  I have been in general practice since 1982, and when you have a medical malpractice case, you need attorneys who do that work and keep up with that complex law day to day, week in and week out.   I choose Rex Baker and Carolyn Gilchrist, because that is best for my clients.  The same care and legal expertise is available to anyone - just contact them.  They will always be honest and realistic and will do what is best for their clients.

Baker and Gilchrist have gone above and beyond for my father while fighting and winning my him the maximum amount allowed by law on his case. This firm has worked very closely with our family to answer questions and with getting our father in being awarded the compensation he deserved after a serious misdiagnosis. Not only did this team win the case but worked with us each step of the way to ensure the amount awarded would also be protected  by giving us sound advice about contacting professionals about financial and estate planning would recommend Baker and Gilchrist to anyone needing representation in a serious malpractice lawsuit.

Please do not go with this law firm. My son has severe cerebral palsy and quadriplegia, he is in a wheelchair. When I first put baker and Gilchrist on his case they told me 90 to 120 days and they should have reviewed his case and medical records. When 150 days went by I called to check up and was told that the nurse was still reviewing it. Called 2 weeks later was told the nurse still hadn't reviewed the medical file so my husband let them know that we had decided to relieve them of their services when someone else jumped on the phone and said that they were going to call anyway and deny our son his case after we had just been told that the nurse had still not even looked at our sons files. My son was denied delivery at the hospital when I came in with bleeding and placental abruption for three hours when he was finally delivered he came out blue. I will find Someone who will pursue the investigation into my sons case that he so deserves. I hope this review helps anyone to better decide who they choose to represent them.

I experienced a bad outcome to a circumstance. Our life as we knew it was changed forever. After many tears and prayers  we came across Baker and Gilchrist. A very strong intuition told us to contact them for their advice. They saw us through the worst time in our life. We had no idea what to do or where to turn. We only knew that something went terribly wrong and needed help. 
If I had to do it over again I would definitely  choose them again.
They are there when you need them.Without going into great detail we were pleased with the outcome. Thank You Caroline and Rex and staff for helping us when we were at our lowest point in life. We truly believe that God pointed us in  your direction.  Forever grateful
