The desserts are tasty, but run on the expensive side. the hours are very strange and almost unreliable. There is typically only one employee working, and the options are limited. The cannolis are great, and filled by hand while you wait. They also offer Hershey's ice cream and plates of wrapped cookies to go (pay by the plate). From what I have experienced, the desserts do not vary much.

I’ve gotten treats here once when they first opened, and they were delicious. But I’ve gone by 3-5 times since and they are always closed! Listing hours is great, but when you close hours before you’ve listed then change your signs and website. Very frustrating.

La Dolce Vita made the most delicious cannoli rum cake for my anniversary. It was the best I have tasted in all the 24 years that I have lived in NC. I would highly recommend them. Thank you so much!

My family and I were enjoying a nice trip to Galaxy Fun Land on 3 July 2017. We decided to stop at Bakery La Dolce for a little treat only to find no one behind the register. We wondered around for approximately 2- 3 minutes (unattended) before an unknown lady entered and approached from behind. The unknown lady never greeted my family nor did she ask how could she be of assistance. We decided to place an order of 3 cupcakes and 2 macaroons despite the representatives unfriendly and unwelcome nature. What made things even worse was that the representative displayed a complete lack of patience in rushing us through our order. As a case in point, she walked away and began ringing us up on the other side of the register before we even completed our order. We were afraid to even taste the pastries as a result of this poor service. Our decision point was if the service was that poor we could only wonder in fear how poor the quality of the deserts may have been. With everything being said, I'd encourage others to forgo this locale in favor of others who value their customers.
