My husband and I had actually booked a campsite on the gulf of Alabama but Tropical Storm Cindy changed that! So I went online and spotted Ballyhoo Campground just south of Crossville TN. We still got rain, but found the best campground we have found! Owners are very nice and the grounds are well kept. It's a small place but perfect for peace and quiet, fishing and relaxing! The fishing is catch and release but was great fishing trip too! And close to everything you may need! We loved it and will be back! We don't mind we missed the beach this trip was a great vacation after all! Thank you Ballyhoo!

Our friends were staying there. Went to look at campground. Lady in Golf cart came by. Did not greet us. Said it was $5.00 a day to visit our friends. We were only there about 10 min. Don't think we want to camp there.

We stayed overnight here on the last of our RV trip headed home. We were totally happy we did ! Clean, quite and friendly. The owners are delightful and helped us get a fire built bc we didn't have kindling or newspaper with us. The little store had things we needed. The bath and showers were clean and has plenty of space inside. We're so happy we found this jewel ! We'll definitely go back. Thanks Ballyhoo ! We LOVE you

Mark Alan is out of line. Anyone who has done much camping knows that you do not come and go in the middle of the night. Example, they were gone for a few days, came back a couple nights before they left at 3am, then last night (about 11:30 pm we woke up to loud talk, and head lights. Apparently they were getting ready to pull out. Some time later they got hooked up and he proceeded to pull straight out across an open field. At this time the owners came down and soon after one of the sheriff's came in. Yes, the pool is closed (no big deal) the campground is well kept and owners ARE friendly.. If, you are looking for peace and quite, this is the place for you. We strongly recommend this campground.. LB

I have stayed here numerous times never alot of campers. Only like 5 campsites used at the time of our stays. I was told they are pet friendly but we can't bring our dogs because there are kids and they don't like our breed. We have a small baby and the dogs are awsome to our son & other children. So I guess they are willing to loose a repeat customer
