Good chicken sandwiches. I went close to midnight and they were still open. Nice service. Hot food. The spicy tenders were a little overcooked and the size of the regular tenders wasn't consistent one was humongous, the other small, but taste-wise I liked everything. I recommend the sandwiches the most. Great new addition to Malden!Food: 4/5

So like many others have waiting for the opening of Bam Bam   We waited awhile for our take out order of multiple items. Regular Chicken, Spicy Chicken, Calamari, Fried Oreos, Raspberry Icecream. The items are also reasonably priced.  When we got home. I will say the chicken was good. Wasn’t soggy, still crispy & crunchy. Now the Calamari the other hand was good, but noticeable needed to be cooked longer so the breaded skin would’ve been crunchy not soft.  Overall we enjoyed the chicken.

Ordered a 10 piece tender with sweet potato fries. The seasoning and spices on the tenders were great! They had several sauce options and their sweet and sour sauce went well with the chicken. I will be back to try more of the menu.

The chicken were well marinated and crispy. The wings are whole section so really good deal when you get the four wings. Will come in again to try more in the menu.

Tried Bam Bam Chicken for the first time yesterday.  Food was ok, nothing to brag about.  The service is not there yet, somewhat unorganized and confused.  My order was not correct!! While I was waiting for my take out order I noticed several other orders come out incorrect.  One ordered waiting to be picked up had a note on it in capital letters stating not to forget their drinks again.  The order had no drinks with it :  We had two chicken sandwiches with fries.  Both requested with sauce on the side and one without coleslaw.  Well there was no sauce at all and both had coleslaw.  Also order a side of calamari.  That was awful!! They charge $6.99 for 6 pieces!!  It was the first time there probably the last.

This place is ok.  It wasn't good, but it wasn't terrible either.  Will I go back?   Probably not.  1.  It took forever to get our food!  We ordered two chicken sandwiches, fries, and 2 smoothie.  It took about 20 minutes after placing the order until the food was ready.  The place was not busy, so hopefully this improves!  2.  $10 for a chicken sandwich with coleslaw is a little expense.  A much better price would be around $6.  You are looking at around $20 for a sandwich, fries, and a soda.  Their are better options in the area for that price.  3.  Smoothies were good!  I would definitely get the Oreo ice cream smoothie again!  This place was just ok... Average.  Slow service, high prices, and an average chicken sandwich keep this place from being a Malden food gem.

My wife and I tried them this weekend because we figured that the couple of soft launches they had prior would be a mess, since they probably needed to work out the kinks. That said, the front-of-house staff is some of the worst I’ve ever seen. We ordered the deluxe chicken sandwich they had a buy one get one deal for their grand opening, and while the chicken wasn’t crispy at all, the taste of the sandwich was actually good moist chicken, flavorful coleslaw, nice bun, etc. That’s why it gets 2 stars. However, I witnessed a gentleman come in after us and order the two-piece chicken meal and another couple after him order an 8-piece, and instead of fulfilling their orders, they made them wait in the queue, even though the chicken for those orders was in the warming case ready to go. Also, we waited for over 20 minutes for our order which included the two sandwiches and two “smoothies,” which they claim on the menu are made with ice cream but are not. After we saw them make the drinks with a milk that is kept out on a counter read: not refrigerated, and use a TON of ice instead of using ice cream, we questioned them on why there was no ice cream. We were told that it is made with “vanilla milk,” which is “like ice cream.” You could only imagine what the consistency of that was - yuck! One sip and it was in the trash! No apology from them either or offer for refund - they said it is what it is - shameful. Another family was there waiting for their order for over 25 minutes and had to keep asking for the status, even though they were visibly distraught - of course no apology. The staff was standing around most of the time waiting for the back of house to bring things out, instead of fulfilling the orders that were available like chicken piece meals and French fries. And when the orders came out, everyone was crowding the counter to see if it was theirs because the gentleman calling out the orders was so quiet and couldn’t answer simple questions. If the chicken sandwich were the best around we’d probably try it again, but with front of house staff that bad I won’t go back until they get some new help or at least someone that vaguely resembles a manager!

It takes a good amount of 10-15 mins per order. I guess it is because they make per order. Recommend the owner to put a sign of average wait time so the customers will not keep asking the staff and lose patient. The strawberry ice cream I took the first time was great but the second visit was pretty icy, I guess not enough orders to clear the ice cream in winter. The fried chicken is pretty expensive.

This was my first visit, and I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. Both were pretty disappointing. The chicken was neither crispy nor spicy, and the fries were too few for a $5 price.  Overall, I prefer the same order from Crazy Good Kitchen or Neighborhood Kitchen.

Really really solid meal. The fried chicken was the stand out part of my meal. Skip the french fries. I bet with a bit more time and experience this restaurant will be truly outstanding, but I wanted to give it a five star for my first experience. The chicken was nicely fried and very flavorful. The BamBam sauce was delicious. Overall I would give it an 8.5 out of 10.
