I can’t say enough about this place. It was so wonderful. Everything about the experience was great. The server was so sweet and kind I didn’t catch her name made lots of recommendations and was super honest; she let us know when she didn’t try dishes or drinks and she let us know what her favorites were. The pronunciation of the food items was not altered for the American audience. They are authentic. They have some outdoor seating about six tables which is heated and they have indoor seating. It gets busy really fast so get there early unless you want to wait. It is pretty clear that they are busy because the place is amazing. Such good food you really can’t go wrong. The sandwiches are great. The soups are great. The appetizers are great, we had the jerky appetizer, some spring rolls a couple of soups, some pho and a sandwich. It was amazing I can’t wait to go back.
Some of the most authentic Vietnamese food in the city! Whatever you do, order the rice cake and get a pile of pork floss. They make it in house! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Did not try the slushie but will get that next time Thanks again for the hospitality!!
This place has amazing Vietnamese food!! They have all the classics like banh mi and pho but they also have dishes I had never tried or heard of before like their crispy rice appetizer and pork and mushroom steamed rice rolls. Both exceptionally good!! My hubs and I shared a banh mi and pho. Both amazing. We went on a Sunday around 130pm and waited for 5 mins before getting seated for 4 people. Service is great and they have a really cool virtual menu with videos of every item.
This is probably the best Vietnamese food I’ve had in NYC get the Pho or any Bánh Mi!. Authentic and super fresh ingredients, paired with an energetic atmosphere, almost made me feel like I was in Saigon! Extremely kind and generous staff to top it off as one of the most pleasant NY restaurant experiences.
Such a great neighborhood gem!! Highly recommend the beaten egg coffee and the Vietnamese iced coffee. The banh mi sandwiches and rice rolls are delicious!Food: 5/5
Best pho for its generous serving of beef! Soup is also great. Lots of people lining so better to arrive there earlier.Food: 5/5
Wow this is the best tofu banh mi I’ve ever had! I wasn’t sure how the pesto would be but it worked great, and the oyster mushrooms were sautéd so perfectly. They also had a great hot sauce I got to spice up the banh mi. Will definitely come back!!
TLDR: I'm Vietnamese and this place is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the world! I've tried it all over and this feels closest to home after my mom's cooking of course! How have I not reviewed this gem before?! My top 3 dishes here are the bánh tiêu stuffed Vietnamese donut, phở bò house beef phở, and bún chả Vietnamese BBQ. I'm not a fan of their bánh mì but everything else I've tried is amazing! One day I want to try the egg créme hot coffee or egg créme cold brew! I just can't have coffee during dinner or else I can't sleep. I got there right when they opened at 6pm on Saturday and they filled up in half an hour! Pro tip: They have QR code you can scan to get in the virtual line where they text you when your table is ready. Service/timing can be slow and your beverages will likely arrive halfway through your dinner, but I still love this place so much. They currently have a special lunar new year snacks available for purchase through tomorrow! On the weekends they have a rotating specials menu from regions all over Vietnam. I went here for their second year anniversary prix fixe dinner and it was mind-blowing! I often tell people they need to come here for authentic Viet food! Dietary restrictions: They serve rice noodles
The space is lovely, and the food is absolutely amazing. We were a party of 3, and we ordered xôi xéo thịt kho twice because we finished the first plate almost immediately!! It gets crowded at lunchtime, but it’s definitely worth checking out:Food: 5/5
Food are good and creative. Atmosphere is fun and staff is very friendly. However, the flow needs a bit of work. My smoothie came out at the very end of the meal when we were getting ready to leave. Thought it was forgotten so we just let it go. We couldn’t manage to get water refill despite asking several different times.Food: 5/5
