I understand policies change not just for BoA, but I am definitely going to do my banking with someone else. First, after 3 years of banking with them they decide to do a maintenance fee which is seen regularly, yes, but I set up my account to avoid that fee. Now 5 dollars might seem like nothing but how is a college student with student loans have time to worry about miscellaneous fees after already, getting charged so many ridiculous fees to attend college. Secondly I live 10 hours from my mother and yes I would love to see her and acquire money from her because she helps me out with college by her giving me cash, but since that’s not possible 99 percent of the time she has to send money through the bank. She does not have an account like myself but for 3 years she has been sending me money from her local BoA. Now they want to not allow my mom to send money unless it’s through a money order which takes 5 days if it is sent Friday. Now what happens if me a college student needs to pay rent on Sunday. Not even BoA would know how to answer this question. If this review had an option to give 0 stars that would be my option. There are plenty of banks that can give me a savings, and checking account why not just go with them. That will be my next step.

Unless you want to be misinformed or lied to, don't go to this bank or any boa matter of fact. I sat in the drive through for 30 minutes. I was depositing a check, my balance was -1.71 so I tried to deposit it and get cash back. They told me they couldn't give me cash back at the drive through and I should go to the ATM and the funds would be available immediately. This was a lie. It put a hold on my check so I went inside and waited another 10 minutes in line just for them to tell me I have to wait until tomorrow to have my funds available. I have bills to pay, this would've been nice to know when I spoke to 3 DIFFERENT people in the drive through. And I swear if I'm charged any fees I will never go back here, I'll close my account and tell everyone Bank of America sucks just as much as the people who work here.

Deposited a check. 3 day hold. Ok. I'm the third day. No money. Have to wait another 6 days. Bullshit

I have been working in a management position most of my life, and I've always been required to make deposits. In my almost 20 yrs of work, I have never had such a pleasant experience with a banking team. To name just a few, Kayleigh  Delma, Heather, Jamie....all great. Very polite, professional and helpful. I was very glad to see that Kayleigh moved from the Holly location to the Alameda location, as I prefer to use the drive thru. She is very fast, thorough, precise and manages to keep a smile on her face, remains friendly under pressure and remembers my name, like many of the other ladies. If it wasn't for this terrific service, I just assume go to Holly, because it's closer.....
