I have had a few accounts with them for years, today they told me they no longer used the credit card I have and told me they could update it and send me a new one. Once I sat down they said, no it’s not upgrading it’s signing up for a new card while also continuing the one I also have. I told the woman I didn’t want a second credit card then was very pushy and asked again which one I wanted. I told her a second time I didn’t want a SECOND credit card and then she called over another employee who told me i should it get another credit card to pay off my first one. I continued to argue with them and say no thank you I don’t want to have two credit cards open. Then the woman was very rude to me as a left. They have also been holding my payroll checks on me for up to 2 weeks when I deopsit them, and they tell me there is nothing they can do about it.

Due to the closing of so many branches, we had to drive from Westfield to Chicopee to change my last name after we married. I had my original and Certified marriage certificate from city hall and the one from the church, my birth certificate, the reciept from Social Security that my name has been changed with the Government , both my previous S.S, card and my new S. S. Card, both of my insurance cards with both names on it and 2 photo I.D.s with my Old last name which matched my bank account name. I was told I would not be able to change my last name on my account unless I had a photo I.D. with my new name on it. I was told I would have to take another half day off to drive back to Chicopee with my husband and a photo I.D. with my married name to add my husband to my current account and change my last name . You have made it completely impossible to continue banking with your institutions. It's no wonder all the local branches are closing, even the A.T.M. is more helpful than anyone inside the building. Thank God Westfield Bank was still open by 2 minutes and gladly opened up new accounts for us so that we would not have to take another afternoon off. And again thank you for the congratulations on our marriage.

Bank is good but horrible hours !! By the time you got out of work they already closed. 4:00 PM

No drive up any more. Hours are terrible . They charge a 7 dollar fee to cash one of their own customers checks if the person cashing the check does not have an account with them. That's highway robbery. If you do have an account they charge you if you come in and deposit by using the teller. They only want you to use the atm or the on line app. Which is crap that they try and force you to use it .some people don't like using the Internet for banking because it not totally secure and billions of dollars get taken out of banks every year from online hacking.besides the fact that alot of people don't use the Internet at all ,many of my customers have no computers or smart phones. So if they want to bank with this bank they get penalized heavily. So what are they offering no personal service ridiculous fees for everything . If you use checks your punished for doing so by charging you fees ,monthly fees on your accounts ,and charging for your checks ,charging for using other banks ATMs. Why is anyone using this bank. If u think every bank is the same your wrong. United bank has none of these charges. Free checks ,no charge to cash checks from other banks, no charge for checking accounts , no fees for using other banks atms . Win Win . So again why is anyone using bank of america. This is my opinion.
