My visit to the emergency room was the second in a couple years. Upon entering the staff was caring and concerned. When put in a room the nurses tag teamed entering health data, giving a iv, And getting me connected to all the equipment. The DR came in shortly introduced himself and asked my health concern, while the nurses continued to see about my needs. It ended up not that serious but received the meds I needed and I felt much better shortly. Everything was clean and the staff was professional. The nurses went above what I expected, they were just great. My experience was above a Five! Thanks to all you health care professionals who care for those of us that come to you in time of sickness and emergency

Easily the most horrible hospital in the world, and this includes third world countries. I've been there twice recently to have the most basic of test ran, and they didn't even bother to tell me the results of them. My GP (affiliated with another hospital) was LIVID! And of course it was like pulling teeth to get the results THREE months later, and yeah, they turned out to be pretty important. Take my advice: unless you are in cardiac arrest, drive to another hospital. If you ARE in cardiac arrest, then RACE to one.

I'm only giving them a 1 because there is not a zero or a negative score. This is by far the worst place ever! I went in from a Serious fall and was denied medical treatment. I couldn't turn my neck and the dr refused to do an X-ray, MRI, CT anything. I told him I had a severe headache from my neck and the dr said" you've never had a headache before". I layed there for hours listening to the Drs and nurses talk about getting drunk and playing golf, how they are offended the rebel flag is coming down and the rainbow is so popular, very unnerving to hear from your healthcare provider! I had no head injury but he did an mri on my head against my wishes" to make sure my brain wasn't bleeding" ????The dr came back said no head injuries here is some ibuprofen and a shot of phenergan??? I asked him to please schedule me an X-ray for my neck which he refused and sent me out the door. I went to NMMC TUPELO and they did one and I had a fracture in my neck. Now they are charging me 900$ for treatment after my insurance payed over 1000$ I didn't want and for treatment they refused to do! I'm fighting them tooth and nail against this bill. Never go to this lame ass excuse for a hospital.

The Baptist Memorial Hospital is by far the worst hospital I have ever been to. I used to think you had to have some kind of qualifications to be a doctor or nurse but now I see in some places this proves to be wrong, and I thought that doctors and nurses cared for their patients well being, but all they care about is sitting at the nurses stations eating bon bons and when they are not doing that they are looking at the window and trying to figure out what color the sky is. I think I can honestly say I have encountered some of the most idiotic people that there is in the health care industry, and if your experience is anything like mine you might need to put an I.D tag on your loved ones because they have trouble keeping up with them to. HONESTLY they don't even deserve a poor rating.
