Lionel our server was absolutely amazing! He gave us very attentive care, great recommendations, and was very personable! Highly recommend the Pork Bites as an appetizer. The steaks were absolutely delicious! The seasoning was so good we actually bought some to take back home. Lionel recommended the Rocky Road bread Pudding and it really topped the night off. Highly recommend Perry’s and ask for Lionel as your server. Thank you! We will be back again!
We recently moved to the area and we were sad leaving home because we’re so used to our local steakhouse. Perry’s did not disappoint. We started with some cocktails which were delicious following spinach dip and pork bites. The pork bites had applesauce which complimented it deliciously! The food was amazing!! We can’t wait to go back. Sebastian who was our waiter was 100% hands down one of the best servers we’ve had, he was attentive to our table! & definitely made our first experience a great one and it’s certainly not going to be our last. Thank you Sebastian!
Was not impressed immediately from the start. Had a reservation for 8 p.m. they kept seating couples who had arrived after in front of me even though I was standing right in front of them. Finally after 30 minutes they apologize that they didn't have enough sitting in the main dining room and could accommodate me at tables around the bar Came for the Sunday pork chop special. Service and food was overall slow, which is a common theme in other reviews as well. The leek soup of the day was disappointing. Hot bread and soup was average. Creamy soup like something you would get in a hospital cafeteria. Best thing about the pork chop was the crust, was very yummy. First started with the ribs, then other 2 cuts. However the amount of fat in the ribs start to overwhelm and in the end it was too much. The pork chop starts out yummy but turns out to be too much with the amount of fat in it. Atmosphere was unclear. Clearly a high end steakhouse but they were showing bad brother, reality TV show on the TV. Unsuitable Perhaps the steaks are a better pick. But their pork chop which they are known for was uninspiring. Skip this place
Perry's offer for Friday's at lunch is a pork chop with puree and apple sauce at a price of $17 , which is what we decided to try. First, the location is excellent and tables outdoor were our choice. Excellent choice, I may add, to do some people watching. The server was kind, attentive and pleasing . She might also have been too busy which may be good for the restaurant's bottom line, but blew at least one star off my rating. Not sure about the kitchen as the orders were slow, perhaps too slow but, the day was perfect so..... Then the chops arrived; three ribs thick which I thought was too thick for grilling. I am a meat eater, and have no problem consuming it in large amounts but, the chops in question were smothered in a buttery sauce which provided flavor to the outside of the chop, while the inside was dry and tasteless. Dessert was bread pudding which was of towering dimensions but not the best, by a long shot.
On August 13, 2022, I was dinning at Perry’s Steak House located in Coral Gables, Florida. After finishing our main course we were waiting for our dessert, when we noticed several of the patrons that were seated around us had left there tables and the restaurant. Approximately 15 minutes later our waitress approached our table and advised us that the cooks have left the restaurant due to an emergency and that they are unable to prepare our dessert. I asked the waitress what was the emergency and he replied, he did not know. At that time the patrons to our left came back to there table and stated to us that the fire department has cleared all patrons to return to there tables. The returning patrons further advised that the reason they evacuated was due to a gas leak. We then request the manager to our table. Moments later Jesus manager asked us what were our concerns. We then advised him that the restaurant was evacuated due to a gas leak but we were never told about the gas leak or to evacuate. We further advised that they put us at risk and demanded to know why we were not told to evacuate. Jesus replied, “I am sorry next time I will do a better job” After several other questions he again replied, I will do a better job next time. This is outrageous we were not given a reason as to why we were not advised about the gas leak and given the opportunity to evacuate the restaurant. Now I pose a question, could this be a race issue because we were the only black Americans inside the restaurant at that time? I am not saying that was the reason, however no one gave us an explanation. We are still demanding a response. We were a party of six including two retired Police Officers and a local investigative News reporter.
My husband and I dined here for Valentine's 2022 and while I must say the food was delicious and I'll return to Perry's just not the one in Coral Gables and here's why.... We started out waiting for a table and decided to go to the bar where we ran into our co-worker and he asked the Bartender to give us 2 rounds each of whatever we were drinking and paid him right then and there.. He said goodbye and joined his wife at dinner. The Bartender looked and bought over a check, I asked what is this for? He replied saying "oh he only paid for 1 drink each for you and your husband"... We were puzzled but never the less we paid the tab and handed him a $20 he in return gave me back my receipt stating I gave him $19 instead of $20. At this moment I knew he was just jipping everyone at the bar and pocketing extra money in addition to his tips. When confronted he tried to play as if I was crazy and didn't know what I was talking about until he saw my face saying let me go get your change. My husband and I always tip well, so no need to steal from us, this had me a bit upset. After we were seated at our table where our waitress seemed very nice until it took a substantial amount of time to get our food and she begin to ignore us not coming over to our table, looking over us with her eyes as if we didn't exist. Once our food finally came that's when she decided to bless us with her presence. Let's not mention what she did with our dessert walking to 3 different tables with it and talking over it before bringing it to our table. I was appalled at this moment and felt the need to let her know how displeased we were and that I would not be accepting that dessert. Like I said, I most definitely will be going to Perry's but not the one in Coral Gables!
Delightful and delicious and Service was immaculate. Very busy and I love how attentive they were even under the circumstances, It was fully packed restaurant. I shall return for more!

Celebrating my Birthday with my husband. 5 star service. I ordered filet with lobster tail over angel hair. My husband ordered the pork chops, like half of the bone in pork loin. Starting with onion soup and wedge salad. Dessert tasting. I highly recommend this restaurant. The ambiance is wonderful. Will go back.Food: 5/5
