Story

Eat. Drink. Be Happy. What does it take to be a regular at Bar Louie Cincinnati? An enjoyment of the craft and the desire to experience something out of the ordinary. From our Chicago roots, we've always known that having a comfortable place to hang out, get great drinks, scratch food, awesome music, and the best service was something special. We create every Bar Louie with all of that in mind. It might not seem like an easy task, but we want to make sure you have a great time, any time you decide to come in. We could make it easier on ourselves, but we live for the quality and uniqueness of what we create. From our handcrafted everything bar, to our scratch everything kitchen, it's in our DNA to be the best. We're at our best when you're having a great time. It may not be normal and it certainly isn't ordinary, but we believe you deserve more than ordinary. If you're not a regular yet... You will be.

I've been to a couple Bar Louie locations. Overall this one is about the same. The draft selection is pretty strong, but the table service is consistently really slow. I would only go here when I have plenty of time. Dollar burger night (Tuesday) is legit. Of course it's not really $1 because you want toppings, and every topping costs extra, *but* you can get a well stocked burger with bacon, egg, cheese, avocado all that for ~$5.

Pic of us "watching" the game at Bar Louie in Oakley. Got here at 8:30. Called ahead to see if they are going to play the US soccer game and they said they would definitely have it on. Asked as soon as we got here if they could turn the game on. After asking 4 different people 6 times if they could turn the game on, decided 10 minutes into the match to just stream it. The bartender's response was "I yelled back there for them to turn it on" and then walked away and started talking to another patron. We finally asked to speak to the manager who finally came out and turned the channel to the game 15 minutes after we asked her. In addition, while our server was nice, drinks from the bartender took 30 minutes to get to the table. I would not recommend going here. Ever. I tried giving this place a chance since it is so close to my house. This isn't the first time I have had terrible service here but it will be my last.

From time that we were first arrived they were not busy. But from the lack of acknowledgement after being told we could sit anywhere. We did not get asked what we would like to eat for 45 mins and the restaurant was not even pack. There was only two other people there. We waited another 30 mins for appetizers which were really good. But the main course was a hot ass mess. We order the same exact entree but only one of us received food. What hospitality!!! Goes to show how much the waitress was really paying attention to our orders. I will never return back to this establishment. I don't care if they were the last resort and source of food on this earth. I would rather eat a fried dead rat! Before I step foot back in this facility.

I ordered the Chicago stockyard burger, it was cooked exactly as I ordered it was delicious! My waiter Jordan was very attentive. I never had to ask for a refill and my food came out in a timely matter. She made frequent visit to the table to make sure everything was to my liking. The environment of this restaurant was perfect for a girls night out.

Has come a long way in the last couple months. Much better service. Shannon, Sam and Stephanie behind the bar do a great job. Tim is also great. Keep up the good work!?
