I don’t know why everyone dogs on this location, but personally I’ve never had a problem with it. The food is always fresh and hot, and the line is usually short; which is actually a little concerning. It does tend to have a weird smell in there though….
My first time here and absolutely no complaints. I got the burrito bowl with chips and some queso! The staff was amazing too. 10 dollars for all you see!
Service was decent, but the food was very bland and all most of the cold items on the bar were frozen. After being there about 30 minutes the restaurant began to stink horribly, like there was a sewer/drain issue.
There’s suddenly a number of burrito places in Valdosta, but Barbarities has been around longer than most, and is still my favorite! Good selection and great quality.

I’ve been coming to the Barberito’s in Valdosta for about 2 years now off and on. Every time no matter who is working, the food and the service is amazing! I love this place especially since it’s based in Athens and will always come here over Chipotle or other places similar. Get the cheese dip and pineapple lemonade!
Visited today- Really great service- quick and tasty. I ordered a burrito bowl salad and my server was very patient and got the portions just right I’m a little picky and was so polite. I LOVED the guacamole! Place was clean and pleasant- music wasn’t too loud. I recommend for quick service, good flavor, and reasonable prices!
We're actually from Tifton but were in Valdosta shopping today. We decided to eat at Barberito's here because ours closed awhile back. I'm so glad we did! This place was great! The food is delicious. The place is nice and clean. But the people....the people were SO friendly. I didn't catch the name of the guy who was helping us, but he was so nice! While we sit here eating, I've been listening to them talk to other customers as they come and go, and they have been so friendly. I can't say enough about these folks. Definitely plan to come back when we're in town again.
It was Friday, so fish tacos were available, that's what I got, sadly the fish was burnt and soggy, taco was very bland. The guy that waited on us was great tho, wish that young man could spread some love around this town. We moved here in April and most people aren't very friendly here!!
Good food and awesome that they have tofu but service is like a poorly oiled machine. Super slow, don’t anticipate running out of ingredients, inefficient division of labor...otherwise just a local version of Chipotle with actually a few more options. I’d go back here but I’d need to budget more time than I did this time.
