The staff was very kind and accommodating… The background was on point !! The food and drinks where excellent..highly recommend and would return when in the area
I had the lunch steak fajitas for one and had plenty of leftovers to take home. My son had 3 tacos. REALLY good food!!Food: 5/5
Great food. We go there often also ordered catering for big parties few time. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you Victor and Gilbert for your personal attention to our order.
Good food, generous portions, loud crowd. Texas fajitas we're an excellent call, plenty to be split for two. Margaritas were a little weak but they're cheap. Crazy busy on a Friday night, it's the happening place in town.
Fajitas were a good mix of steak and veggies, not overwhelmed with onions like some places. Texas Margaritas are on point and the salsa is yummy.Food: 4/5
I was disappointed in the lack of concern by the restaurant for community safety/health. Their patio and inside were packed and only one side of the place was being used so there was no social distancing. Server were wearing masks. Of course, no customers with masks on. The staff couldn’t care less if I was there they were so busy. There was a woman folding napkins who was new and she jumped in to help me and was very friendly. I couldn’t leave her without a tip! Please, even if you get takeout, tip the person a couple bucks for helping you if they’ve given you good service. FOOD wise, it was mediocre. Then again, all Mexican food here is mediocre. I got the Macho Nachos which consists of chips, white LIQUID cheese, ground beef, refrained beans, and guacamole and sour cream. It surprisingly was not as good as the place across the street. The chips weren’t made in-house, which was also a disappointment. So far, Los Magueyes is still the best Mexican food in Milledgeville.
Fantastic dining experience. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and attentive. Our waitress was very helpful when helping me order and eat around my cilantro allergy. The food was hot and muy deliciosa. They have Coca-Cola products and a full bar for those margaritas and mojito‘s. Ooey gooey cheese dip and bottomless chips and salsa. I would recommend this place for quick lunches or large parties. Good atmosphere and comparable pricing for the area.
Great street tacos. Been going here on and off for 15+ years. Really good thick tortilla chips and great salsa. I was turned off seeing that they now charge 3% more for non cash payments.
Update to original review 08/13/2020 This place has really gone down hill - and I realize a lot of places were affected by covid - prices going up I get.. but $8 for an 8oz cup of queso? Like come on.. not only that but the service is lacking where it used to be excellent - called to place a pickup order at 4:50 - unaware they weren’t open until “later” and was told I couldn’t place an order because they didn’t open til 5.. wait what?! Our last order - fajitas were sent without tortillas - we got 1 order of bang bang shrimp instead of the two that we ordered and the $8 cheese cup we got was only 4 oz.. it’s really disappointing as this was my favorite take out spot until recently.. Photo is $15 Texas fajitas for 1 - 3 shrimp, 4 strips of chicken, and 4 strips of steak. Case and point. 4 Stars - the food is still tasty - and management was gracious in hearing our complaints and handled the complaint to our satisfaction. Thank you Nicky. rant over. —————— Original review below: 5 Stars Hands down the best Mexican in the area.. the food is always delicious! Very reasonably priced! Love this place!
Food was priced differently than what was shown on menu. What was shown as $9 was actually $15. Couldn't argue price because they have a small sign saying there has been a price increase and they don't have new menus yet. Ordered cheese dip which was basically just a half full bowl of warm milk. The servings are half what they used to be for twice the price.
