This place was recommended to me I went into their place to check it out I made an appointment for them to come to my house he came he was very friendly he measured my fireplace and he is now going to install me one so far I'm very happy with them. He was very friendly I asked questions he was able to answer all questions didn't hesitate on any of them and he call me back to let me know what it would cost by the next working day so they're efficient they're fast and they're friendly

The only reason I gave one star is because I could not give zero stars and be able to write a review. This company put a cap on my chimney in July 2016. They had to install it twice because they didn't do it properly the first time. Last Friday the cap flew off of the chimney, taking a chunk out of my stucco,  destroying my patio umbrella, but even more seriously I had been sitting on my patio 10 minutes earlier and the cap landed where I had been. I could have been seriously hurt or killed. When I called the company the female answering the phone was rude and refused to send someone out to at least cover the chimney because rain was in the forecast.  She told me we would have to do it ourselves. It has been 5 days and there has been no return call by Mr. Barnes nor anyone out to repair the cap. They do shoddy work and do not value the customer at all. We will have to take them to court for the damages since they will not return calls or come fix work that was not properly done.

I love my new fireplace. Couldn't decide what I needed in my new home and the they helped me so much. Fast delivery and it is beautiful! Thank you

I am VERY disappointed with Barnes Fireplace.  They installed a ventless gas fireplace in our home (new construction) last June.  When we first tried to use it in November it was obvious that there was way too much heat.  The wall where the insert is located gets so hot you can not put your hand on it. It peeled the paint and melted another glass and acrylic object.  We have never been able to use the fireplace.  I first called Barnes Fireplace in November 2016 to please send someone to look at it.  We really feared if we tried to use it and left it on for any length of time our house could burn down.  At least ten other building professionals have also concurred there is an issue.  For three months I have  called them every two weeks and they have never yet responded to us.  No attempts to contact us to set up a time to look at it - the story is always the same - our technician will call you.  I have never seen such poor - actually non-existent customer service.  I've spent three months without being  able to use our fireplace (during the holidays was disappointing) and I've never had to resort to writing a bad online review but this is clearly unacceptable.  I've also called the store to ask to speak to the owner (who is most likely unaware of all this) but am always told he is not available.  Mr. Owner, I am also a business person and I value good customer service.  Please contact me.  The people answering your phones have my number.

Worst Customer service ever. Had guy from there come out to give us estimate. Been 3 months now and no price for repair after numerous attempts.
