They don't have celery salt but the expensive type. Keep looking for it in their inexpensive brand but no success. For the most part the store is perfect for me when I am only shopping for a few items. Been shopping at this store for 25 yes or more.

Seedy, trashy, and ill-kept with surly inattentive workers! It would be difficult to find a more unattractive and unappetizing store. For years Barnes was one of the few grocery stores in the downtown area. We didn't have much choice. The tiny fryers are one step above squabs. Nothing in the store decor and displays has changed in the past 20 years. Another 20 and Barnes can become a historic landmark. Now it is just awful.

This place is permanently closed! Publix ran them out of business.

I like Barnes. It's been here forever as the neighborhood grocery store. It's actually got very decent prices on meat. But you have to check expiration dates on anything you plan to buy, because they're not great about taking expired stuff off the shelves. And it smells kind of funny. Still, it's kind of an institution, and I worry that the new Publix will put it out of business. So go to Barnes sometimes!
