Nice venue! More lively than a hotel bar, better than a sports bar but with screens that show … sports of various kinds. This is not why I was here. I was here for their house beers. They were good. Service is via app, like in an airport. The Belgian devil was the closest to a real beer they had. It was good! The home made chips were nice too! Same as the truffle happy French bourgeois noses fries! The Aioli was to die for, not sure what the ketchup was doing next to fries … lol. I’d visit this place anytime again though!
We got there luckily because we were walking the street. The fries amazing, the burger tasty and nice. I really love this food! You order and pay with a QR code in your table, very nice
Went to Bartlett Hall for the first time yesterday and it was a pleasant experience. It has a dive / gastro bar fell located 5 minutes from Union Square. The food was really good, especially the buffalo fried cauliflower and sweet potato fries. Also, all customers are encouraged to scan a QR code menu, choose drink / food, and can pay from the website, which is really convenient. Be ready to share your vaccination card and id. Overall, I had a good experience and encourage you to try this place out!
I wanted to gain more knowledge of restaurants near the hotel I work at. Bartlett Hall is one of ‘em. They say to make reservations so I did and it was easy to capture a time slot on the day I visited. I had the Bartlett Hamburger. It was very good and the fries made out of perfection. I also had their Calamari. Tasty and chewy and as I chew and chew it made me think about…how chewy the tentacles were. Now this restaurant is known for there beers but sorry people I’m not a drinker and so I didn’t experience that part of the menu. I guess over all the service was ok. I was greeted and seated quickly but nothing to be excited about. I guess I went on an off night. It just seemed like everyone was tired or something. Oh well.
Struggling after the shutdowns I think. Bartlett was once a place I took my wife for a nice dinner. As of now, they skimp on the mains, overgenerous on the sides. Bar wise? Fantastic. Great beers and service. The food is good, they just had to suffer from "shrinkflation."
Ordered the shrimp and calamari appetizer to start. Shrimp was soggy as it was just dumped onto paper with calamari. Had a chunk of calamari not really breaded and it was rubbery. Left that to go back with the fried jalapeños. Smash burger was juicy but had no real seasoning was bland taste wise. Fries were good. Heard rave reviews from the people we were here with, wouldn’t be my first choice, especially for price.
Just perfect. Great beer their own and amazing corned beef their own. Like I went back in time to a place where food and beer matters. Love it!Food: 5/5
Good place for late night out. Burgers are pretty good - beef and veggie available. Pizza was slightly too salty. Sausages were delicious. Buffalo chicken wings were tasty. Place has a good vibe - dimly lit and comfortable. Prices and portion sizes reasonable. Service was average.
We had dinner here on Sunday night. Got in early without a reservation, but the restaurant quickly filled up- so I would recommend booking a table. Indoor seating has high tables with stools, booths as well as standard tables and chairs. May be worth mentioning if you have a preference when booking. We ordered drinks- $13 for a cocktail and $14 for a glass of white wine. Both were lovely. Food was fish tacos with mahi mahi and avocado- $19 and small serve of seafood stew- $16. Both were spicier than expected, but tasty none the less. The small serve of the stew was quite small, but perfect for me as I wasn't very hungry. Service was friendly and efficient and it had a great vibe. Sports playing on TV screens around the walls too. I would go back.
We went on a friday evening and the whole place was packed but with a nice ambiance. Even though it was filled we got seated within 5 minutes. The menu isn't that big but there is diversity. We started with some wings and finished with a burger with amazing sweet potato fries and my friend had a tasty pizza. It is not the cheapest and expect to pay around 40-60$ a person, but besides that the food is good.
