Confession schedulde is as follows: Monday - Friday 10am - 11:30am & 4pm - 5:30pm. Saturday 8:30am - 12pm & 3pm -6pm. Sunday 7:30am - 8pm.

Mass Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am, 11:30am & 5:30pm. Masses are all Bilingual on weekdays. Saturday 6:30am Spanish, 9:30am Bilingual, 11:30am Bilingual & 5:30pm English. Sunday 7am Spanish, 9am English, 11am Bilingual, 1pm Spanish, 3pm English, 5pm Bilingual & 7pm Spanish.

I went with my church on April 29-30th and we had the best experience ever. Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted and taken care of very well. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were available both days we stayed with a variety of foods. The church itself was absolutely beautiful and they have one of the best gift shops I have ever seen, you can definitely find something for everyone there. We went to two mass services, one was a regular mass that was beautiful and right after was a healing mass that was even more beautiful. So glad I made the decision to go to such an inspirational and holy place of worship. It was my first time to visit with my church and cannot wait to return in a year!

A Large Modern Basilica of South Texas. It is not as intricate as the older, traditional Basilicas but it does have its very own charm. 
It's been said that some make regular pilgrimages here. Upon arriving you will notice merchants selling Holy Water on the steps of the Basilica. Additionally one can go over to a large fountain on the steps of the Basilica, where one can fill their containers full of Holy Water. 
When we walked in we noticed a very large impressionable Shrine in the back drop that people pray to.
At one of the side chambers lays a chamber full of ceramic saints that people pray to as well. At the other end of the Basilica lays another room dedicated to prayer candles that are lit and burned until they extinguish themselves. According to the website, here at the Basilica thousands of candles are lit every week. If you wold like to have them light a candle for you every week of the year, they will do it for a donation of $130.00!
We didn't arrive during a mass but we just happened to walk into what seemed like repetitive chanting of a rosary prayer. After a quick tour of the interior we walked outside to its charming lawn. It has a walking trail that walks you through a full size "Way of the Cross" that spans approximately a mile long.
Additionally the Basilica has a Gift store and a hotel on the grounds that includes a breakfast with your stay.

Basilica is maintained exceptionally well. Prayer room with religious statutes, large capicity for Masses, 65 acres of manicured laws with religious statutes throughout & gift shop with a large selection of religious items.

Great and beautiful church. For Sunday mass always show up 30mins before it starts for seats
