Great tasting food and nice people. The food selection changes depending on the day of the week. My favorite is the oxtails on the weekends. Some of the plates are above average in price. A slice of cake should not cost $4.99 although they are all good. You can easily spend $20 a person here. The hot water cornbread is always fresh and taste great. They have your usual choice of sunday dinner sides. The candied yams taste great. If you have a taste for soul food this is a good place to go.

My first time visiting this restaurant was in January. I ordered Ox Tails and rice. The taste was ok but they were rather tough. My next visit I ordered baked chicken Mac & cheese and collard greens. The chicken & greens were very bland and the Mac n cheese was mushy and overdone noodles. The best thing they have is desert. Their cakes are delicious

Excellent food and service.  I have been there many times. The desserts are a must to sample.  Very good.

This place used to be so good, and the service was at one point superb. There were customers walking out the door going to the restaurant two doors down because the staff didn’t care to put new fresh food out presentation is everything. I called ahead 20 minutes to order some fried wings and when I arrived young lady said that the cook forgot to make them

I don't know what has happened! Used to go here all the time a couple years ago and then something changed. I tried a couple times recently with lackluster results.  Went today hoping things would be different but they're worse!  Food was bland, my favorite sides were yams and mac& cheese. Neither was good today.  The turkey was bland also...WHAT HAPPENED?!?!?!  Go back to the old recipes, old cooks, something!!! I just wasted my money.  And the service?!  She was on her phone when I walked in, acted irritated when I asked if they had ribs, copped an attitude when I decided turkey instead of ribs, and I had to ask for utensils AFTER she bagged my items.  This place has gone downhill!!
