Bass shoes are an American tradition.  If you are willing to go with a close out style you can kill it in april and early may. Professional staff.  Good balance of service and always superior value on the clearance shelves.  
Outstanding customer service.  
Much still made in maine.  I wear their shoes for long shifts on cement floors. One of the few shoes that last all day for those who are on their feet for long periods.  
Of course none of that matters if they are not tasteful.  I'm continually complimented on my bass shoes when worn.

Love the Bass store shoes and clothing, do not like the confusing sale signs. Takes to long to figure out pricing. Sign outside says one discount, then a pandoras box of discounts when you open the door, left the store without a purchase.
