I got stuck in a jam leaving work, my battery died , I called everyone in Modesto for a battery and was greeted with over 100$ batterys with some places charging to install the battery. I called Batteries Plus and they were a great price and told me to come right in and they could change the battery for me and it was free of charge to change. I went there after jumping my car, I was greeted by Josh , Mike and Robert . Josh was the one that helped me. He was very attentive and did a great job changing out my battery. Robert was very knowledgeable and was able  to find the best deal for me. The whole process was very fast and I'm very happy with the service. Thanks for getting me out of a jam.  You definitely bought a customer.

I walked in and was greeted by a man named Robert. I stated to him that I needed 2 batteries for a car alarm. Without speaking, he extended his hand opened for me to give him my alarm button. I handed it to him. Again without speaking, he proceeded to open it, remove the battery, and put a new one in. He then closed it, and asked me to test it. I tested it on my car outside, and it worked perfectly. I then told him I needed another one. But I had that alarm at home, and I would install it myself. He said okay, and we proceeded to the register. He put in the charges, $5 for each battery, plus a $3 install fee. I immediately question him on why I was being charged for an installation. He stated that it was because I asked him to install the battery. Right away I told him, I did no such thing. I told him I needed batteries, and I never asked him to install them for me. He did that on his own. he said, "by handing it to me, I assumed you wanted me to install it." I said to him, "your assumption shouldn't cost me three additional dollars." He stated there was nothing he could do. I told him I didn't want to pay. He said that I have to pay. Not wanting to argue anymore, I just paid it. But I told him that I thought he was very wrong, and that I would be calling to speak with his manager. He responded by saying I can do whatever the f I want. I'll definitely never go back, but I definitely will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

Ordered 24F Nissan battery online.
24F battery is very common and used by Honda, Nissan, Ford etc.
Paid for, got confirmation number.
Four hours later went to pick it up.
Clerk couldn't find the order till I showed email sent to me.
Was told they didn't have one in stock and if I wanted to wait 2 or 3 days they would get one from Tracy, Ca.
Tracy is about 20 minutes away from Modesto.
Cancelled my order and and went to Nissan dealer. 
Worth the extra 15 dollars especially if ever a warranty problem.
I previously bought a motorcycle battery from batteries and bulbs and thanks to another reviewers advice I had to call twice to make sure they actually charged it before I picked it up.
They do have a lot of cool stuff like really bright flashlights that illuminate long distances and home protection items.

First time customer with them for car battery and extremely satisfied. Sarkida (almost positive didn't get name right) was nice, friendly, and wasn't afraid to help swap my battery. Valuable employee. Thanks!!!
