With Groupon promotion , we decided to dine at This place with low expectations. To our surprise , food was very tasty . We ordered , mirchi bajji, Chicken karivepaku , corn 65 , malai kofta, naan & chicken biryani . All came out to be very tasty . Salon that comes with biryani could have been better taste . Overall decent experience.
I gave ordered food from UBER EATS. The delivery was good but the food was disastererous. Garlic Naans :: I don't think they are maintaining their standards. Garkic Naan was not soft. It's so hard and more thick. Also they didn't added butter to it. Usually butter will be added to the Garlic Naan. Shahi Paneer :: The curry was tasteless. Paneer pieces were cooked good but it tastes more tangy. Gulab Jamun : it tastes good.
**PENNEY COLLECTORS** I love the biryani but the management sucks. Last time and this time were same. My total for veg biryani was $13.87 now if you pay cash they won’t give you $.13 cents back. It happened twice hence please try to avoid cash or avoid restaurant
Worst service. Even water is not being served. I ordered Gongura Mutton Biryani. To my surprise I was served Biryani with a side Gongura pickle priya pickle, confirmed by waiter to mix with Biryani and eat. To my surprise, I was billed for gongura Mutton Biryani for 16.99$ and Gongura pickle for 2.99$ , when questioned they adjusted to 13.99$, which makes huge price difference. Not even worth 1 star rating
Bawarchi Biryani is very great place to dine at. We visited this place today. The customer service was very good and they were very friendly to us. Environment was friendly. The food is very tasty and they have many unique options. The quality is good. Touchless menu. They gave complimentary water bottles to us. The restaurant was kept clean. Good service here. We strongly recommend to visit the restaurant with your families and enjoy the tasty food:
I wish I could give more, but this is the kind of place which should be shut down 1. We went at 2:30pm and ordered 2 biriyani. We were the only ones there and the waiter informed us the cook were having lunch and we would need to wait!!!! That's a new one. They could have put a closed sign but instead had us wait while the cooks were eating. 2. After our long wait, the food arrived and the food could barely do justice to the brand. I have been to Bawarchi in other locations but this was disappointing. 3. Our table was actually wobbly and shaking. So we had to hold the table while we ate as it kept shaking. Why is this "restaurant" still open?
Good family platters. Quality can be variable, but never bad. Better than the place with the same name on Oaktree Road in Edison.Food: 4/5
Vegetarian takeout review. I ordered a half tray low height of tempur vegetable dum biryani. I added paneer to it for which they charged a reasonable $3. I requested them to make their temper portion half the standard chili paste as I was unsure of whether that would take me into territory of Andhra level heat. I'm happy to say that while it was spicy in certain spots, the biryani was very tasty. It had some wetness to the vegetable clumps here and there that released a good burst of flavor whenever your teeth encountered one. The paneer was neither dry nor hard and had reasonable flavor around it unlike the biryani from the Oak Tree Mall first floor in Edison. For a perspective of the heat, it was just a bit higher than Taco Bell's Fire Sauce. There was plenty of vegetables, paneer and salan with the serving but for a family tray, I felt a little more yoghurt/curd would have been better.
I was a regular customer pre and during covid. I recently ordered 2 family packs for few guests. To my utter dismay and disappointment, the quality and quantity has drastically deteriorated. Pulav was a paste, I had to get rid of food. I ended up paying much higher for garbage.. Such a disappointment !
Bawarchi used to be a better place until a few years back. Looks like the management has changed or keeps changing, because every few months the taste or the pattern of the same item is entirely different. Very unhappy with the way they deal with customers and their requirements.
