Both I and my wife have visited Beth at Bay in Spring Hill in the last month.  First I got cured of a nasty rash which turned out to be a FL fungus and I was using the wrong treatment making it worse.  Totally healed in 3 weeks using Rx gel.  Today I took my wife in for elusive bug bites that were leaving her with black spots lasting for months.  Resolved that issue too.  My wife got the full body once over and they removed a suspect mole for biopsy that wasn't even originally planned.  Was totally painless according to wife.   Short wait of 15-20 minutes in lobby and we were out the door no more than 30 minutes after that with proper written instructions.  Have no reason to go anywhere else.  We are in our 70's and they accept Medicare for payment.  They are very nice.  I like medical folks with a sense of humor too.

**Sadly Beth has left Bay so after 4 months and two biopsies (tissue samples) the final report from the pathologists in latin translated to "Excessive Scratching" from rare condition.  Anyhow my wife's dark spots are slowly going away with her own home remedies.  She never scratched them as they don't itch.  We miss Beth and have lowered rating by 1/2.  Frankly they were baffled by this one and no way my wife will get a "peel" or other cosmetic cure.  When one gets into their mid 70's vanity is limited by time and pension.

I’m new to Florida and got an appointment here after calling one of the closer offices (they were booked).  I have developed what I thought to be very painful infected acne and was in desperate need of an oral antibiotic.  Dr Esguerra wouldn’t prescribe one but instead prescribed 2 topical acne medications that cost $465 (my insurance didn’t cover it).  I tried calling the office several times last week to be on hold for over 20 minutes listening to the recordings.  I hung up and called the receptionist desk.  I explained the problem and she said the dr would call me back that day.  He didn’t.  My pharmacist also called and said he never got any response from the office.  So now I am out money for medication that made my skin worse.  Although Dr Esguerra was nice, I felt that he didn’t take my medical history of having autoimmune disease into consideration.    My skin is not improved and burning & painful and my whole face is red and swollen.  I have since gone to another dermatology practice in the area and was properly diagnosed with Rosacea and Perioral Dermatitis and given a long term antibiotic.  I would not recommend this clinic as it seemed chaotic and disorganized thru the front desk.

Not pleased with the support from Bay Dermatology and Dr. Esguerra at all. They failed to follow up with my prescriptions and also failed to find any alternative medicines when there were many available. I changed to a different Dermatology Office and Doctor and have had no problems since. Would not go back to Bay Dermatology.

I hardly ever do reviews. I always give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I do not like confrontation. However this has been the most difficult practice that I have ever have dealt with. This nightmare has been going on for 10 days now. The lack of follow thru, compassion and customer service is mind blowing.  It started with my 16y.o. needed her Psorasis medicine refilled. She had 3 refills left. She was last seen on Feb 10, 2017. I called them on Feb 5 2018 for the refill and to make her annual appointment. They would not refill her medication until we saw them. Her appt was set for Feb 9th. I explained her psorasis is very active she still has refills at the pharmacy to please let her have one of her refills i told we see them. The girls answering the phone at call center did show compassion and was really trying to help. Karen PAC or ARNP along with the staff at the Spring Hill Office had no compassion at all. I called them 4 days in a row asking for either the PA/ARNP to call me back or the office manger. No one bother to return my calls. Meanwhile my daughter is embarrassed and suffering from her outbreak. She’s a sophmore in High School, having to hide her arms and legs. So basically I’m at the mercy of keeping this appt so I can get her medicine to help clear up her psorasis. It’s very hard to get a new patient appt at any other Dermatolgy place so quickly. 
Moving along to her her appointment day, girls checking us in was nice. Get to the room and Karen enters. Not a smile on her face, no explanation of why they wouldn’t give her refill earlier in the week. Writes a RX for her cream and blood work snd basically said so long. We did her bloodwork same
Day. Blood work was back on Monday. We need these results because if her Strep Titer is high they will be calling in an antibiotic to help with her outbreak. It’s now Wednesday afternoon and I have been calling for 3 days now for her results. I once again ask for management to call me back. Basically anyone from that office to call me back. I guess I will be driving down this afternoon to try and get someone to respond to me. 
This is very disheartening. I’m in the medical field. I am a Regional Nurse Liaison. I’m became a nurse because of the compassion and passion I have to help others. I would never treat any of my patients they way they have treated us.

Very professional from front waiting area to Dr. Karen. Very helpful with procedures.....and there's always a hand to hold if I need it!!
