Doctor George is great. However, the nurse was extremely rude and short with me even with me being calm, understanding and speaking soft. No vitals were done before discharge, he didn’t know what my children diagnosis was and didn’t have papers to provide or read to me. I asked what my kids tested positive for and he said I don’t know do you want to know.... of course I want to know what do you think? I know it’s protocol to check my kids vitals before discharging then considering my baby came in with temp over 103 and had only been administered medicine 18 minutes prior to discharge by doctor- nurse took a long time to read doctor notes and even bring medicine. I’m not satisfied with the care we received and I will be complaining to my health Insurance about the lack of care we received. Also, the registrar, Lou was extremely

Nightmare Nursing Care at Bayfront Hospital in Port Charlotte Florida 

As a former nurse it was a horrible experience to watch my friend who was needing Day Surgery get treated like he was some kind of an animal at his time of  discharge they ripped his IV out of his arm so badly that it was bleeding for about 15 minutes through the bandage when he left the hospital he did not receive any post-op instructions at all and within a day I had to take him to another hospital so that he could get his care that he needed. the dhirt haired fat& no name nurse on the night shift was a fat mean rude b****short with streaky blonde hair and just an idiot I am never seen anyone so unprofessional in my life and I will continue to report this nurse until I get something done about it the kind of treatment she gave the patient was absolutely not acceptable in any professional sense of the word I am totally disgusted with the unit of 1 North Bayfront ortho-neuro please somebody take these licenses away from these idiots. The photo of his IV site where they ripped his vein speaks for itself! Tues 22nd of May 2018.

I was there today at 9:36 pm to visit my father who was being admitted, i walked into an empty waiting area and approached the short Hispanic fellow behind the counter in casual clothes. I asked to go see my father (leaving name out)  and he said "mmhmm", so i stood there waiting for him to push a button or say anything else. then finally after what felt like an eternity, he told me to take a seat.... waited over 20 minutes for this guy to print out some papers so he could walk 10 feet and punch in a 4 digit code to let me in to see my sick father. PLEASE someone in that place has to see how bad this guy treats people!!!!!
