One of the most beautiful parks in Sarasota. Close to downtown and many points of interest. Huge, free parking lot. Boat rental, boat charter, fishing etc. Restaurants (good food), beer (bottled, canned, draft) artisanal cocktails. Credit/debit cards accepted. This place is highly recommended for everyone.

There is valet parking at the Marina Jack Restaurant in the pier. But if you don't mind a few hundred yards walking then in front of the bay thre are plenty of *FREE* parking places. The park is beautiful. Here is the famous World war II photo a sailor kissing a nurse as a huge staty.

Love this park.With so much to do at the park and nearby, you can definitely spend all day there. It's well kept, clean and has great views. Perfect place to hang with your family and friends. Kids had a blast there. Great for picnics, kids birthday parties. Has a nice splash pad and play ground.

Our family of 5 LOVE coming here even from 45 minutes away! We have plenty of playgrounds in our neighborhood, but this place is perfect for a 4 hour afternoon at a playground, splash pad, open grass, picnic areas, a "boardwalk," with a beautiful view of city and bay, and plenty of relaxation! The kids come home tired every time.
