I have taken my car there for years for maintenance and oil changes, have always received excellent service and quick and timely response!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO BAYONET POINT ENGINE! I called and spoke to Pam to get an estimate for an engine rebuild on my Hyundai Elantra. Pam took my name and number and said she would price it out and call me back. Pam gave me an estimate of $1800.00 and said it would take 10 business days and it comes with a 3 year/unlimited miles warranty. (Other shops in the area were in the same price range and 7 to 10 days to complete the work with a 12 month warranty.)
I dropped off my car on 06/27/12 and was given the written estimate and was told 10 business days. This was witnessed by my neighbor who took me to drop off the car. I also had Pam write it on the paperwork in the space that said "work to be complete by".
Bayonet Point Engine NEVER ONCE called me to update me on the progress of my car. I called 15 times starting on 07/05/12 to see when my car would be done. Each time I was given a new excuse of why my car was not done and asked that I be patient. 
On 07/24/12-07/25/12 I called 5 times with no answer. I drove up to the repair shop and it was locked up with my car inside and no one at the shop.  Finally on the 26th Pam called and said they were in Arizona for a function for their son and the guy putting my car together was bitten by a rattlesnake. 
After repeated calls and another trip to Bayonet Point Engine, I finally received a call from Pam on 08/22/12 stating my car would be done an hour and I could come pick it up. 
***THIS WAS EIGHT (8) WEEKS FROM THE TIME I DROPPED OFF MY CAR - 56 DAYS!!!!
To ad insult to injury, when my wife drove the car home, the air conditioning did not work and the car was making an awful screeching sound. I took my car to a local dealer and had to pay $240.00 to fix a broken connection going to my AC compressor, tighten the AC belt to the proper tension and replace two broken heater hoses that were leaking on my ac belt causing the screeching! 
ALL THINGS THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHECKED BEFORE GIVING THE CAR BACK. - THEY HAD TWO MONTHS TO GET IT RIGHT!!!

Numerous issues over the years dropped off heads so many times and was told within one week it would be ready and almost every time it was over 3 weeks...... no one calls to update you you have to constantly call and ask whats going on. Last time parts were ordered and installed without asking or telling me prior so when I called to check the pick up time again changed to another week and then was told about extra parts I had to pay for only after I asked why it was taking so long (after 2 weeks) I would suggest you look every where else before going here
