The Beachcomber was such a disappointment. Guys... Your bar is a beach bar!!!! Put in a freakin window! Lighten up the place. I have never been in a darker, sadder place. A missed opportunity here. There are so few places along the water in West Haven and Milford. Take a queue from Dive Bar.

I've seen Long Island Sound wash right through the Beach Comber several times... An International Dart Player insisted that the Beach Comber is a great place! I stopped by last Friday night and what an awesome time I had listening to a 3 man band playing. There was a food truck outside & I had a great sandwich. If you like fantastic bands, awesome prices - $5 Sea Hags and great service you'll love it here (BUT) If you like Piña Coladas, getting caught in the rain. ... If you like making love at midnight in the dunes on the cape, go to the cape ;) This Iconic American Dive Bar is the real deal! I'm bringing my girlfriends next time.

Classic dive bar. Decent food combined with local luminaries make this locale a favourite to drown ones sorrows...

One of my regular spots. Great bands every few fridays. A beer and shot kind of bar rather than a martini and cocktails type.

As my best friend says..it never disappoints. I am from Milford, now live in Boston..When I return home..must visit the 'Comber.'
