Have stayed at the Beachcomber for several years now. Maureen is fantastic to work with. Our room is always clean and perfect for the beach. The beachfront access is excellent and lack if commercialism is just what we like about "Old Florida".

My husband and I just returned from a week at the Beachcomer.  We had a great time.  We stayed in Unit 14.  It was very clean and had everything we needed.  Don't go there if you are expecting modern luxury.  The facilities are obviously dated, but they are clean.  The Beachcomer sits oceanfront and affords beautiful views of the sunsets.  The only negative thing we experienced was that the mattresses were not comfortable at all.  I don't know if they are specific to this unit.

It's a great place to chill out, have stayed a number of times (4) and will keep coming back until the cash runs out.
If you want luxury and up to date accomadation it's not for you.
It's dated and clean and has what most of us wont.
Maureen's a jem and will always try to accommodate.
