Bear Brook State Park is a big place. I have been to many state parks in New England, and my main sport is mountain biking, but Bear Brook is awesome. Filled with an assortment of trails for mountain biking. I read about the trails online and also downloaded a map then I travelled there and spent a nice day exploring the trails and taking pictures. What an adventure. After, my family and I ate at Rodeo in Concord and that capped a day of excellent trails in the wonderful New Hampshire woods. Cant wait to go back this summer.

I only like Bear Brook in the winter. And even then I only like the cross-country skiing trails away from the snowmobile trails. I Snowshoe in the winter and the pollution from the snowmobiles makes it very difficult to breathe. That is why I did not give it 5 Stars. The other reason is because when the weather is warmer and bicycles are on the trails, bicyclists don't always obey the rules of the trails and yield to hikers. If you're a snowmobiler or like to ride mountain bikes then Bear Brook is probably the park for you. If you're more of a hiker then other places that don't allow motorized vehicles or bicycles or snowmobiles might be a better choice. But it's one of the few places in the area where you can Snowshoe without having to climb a mountain. I recently had a fall snowshoeing on a mountain so I've been having to search out places to Snowshoe without mountains.

The trails are nice, and plentiful. I love being here so peaceful.

Very clean state park. The only down fall is the beach area. That section of the park iss not the cleanest and the water is not the cleanest. The play set is perfect for kids to play with there friends to play and for parents to bond.

Definitely one of the largest campgrounds I've ever seen in my entire life you literally have to drive it to get around!
