A John Howie Restaurant and Brewery

Story

Beardslee Public House in Bothell, Washington is a Pacific Northwest-inspired and family friendly eatery that specializes in world-class signature brews made on site in our 10-barrel brewery.

Beardslee’s menu features high-quality, made-from-scratch comfort cuisine crafted from locally sourced ingredients. Most everything served at Beardslee is made in house: the restaurant grinds its own meat, bakes its own fresh bread and creates artisanal cured meats in a separate, specialized charcuterie kitchen.

This place was okay. The service was good and friendly. The food was pretty good, only downside was the price. Everything was just too expensive for what you get. I had the Mac and cheese large size, the amount was good but for $16 there should have been more food. This place is good for the happy hour. I'll go back but only during happy hour. The beer selection was decent. The coffee beer was actually pretty good and it wasn't too dark or heavy. You can see in one of my pictures it looks like all the beer is pale ale but one of them is the coffee beer. Like I said go for happy hour and it's worth it. Otherwise I wouldn't go back.

Beer and appetizers are great. Location and overall ambiance of the place is really good. Only downside personally for me is the service. Wait staff seem to be a little pushy and really make you feel that it's time to leave. Edit: I am updating my review to 5 stars because I truly enjoyed how Ashley took care of us. Thank you.

Beardslee is the perfect place for comfort foods and beer done INCREDIBLY WELL. All of their breads, beers, cured meats, and pickled vegetables, and sauces (down to the ketchup) are made in-house with high quality ingredients, and it shows! The rotating specials menu frequently offers seasonal ingredients and tasty burger concoctions. Also, Beardslee has some of the best onion rings I've ever had! That being said, if you're looking for a burger for $5, then this is not the place for you. I wouldn't say that Beardslee is inexpensive, but you definitely get what you pay for, and here that is quality. The service is also exceptionally nice. We never leave disappointed!

First time here and it was excellent. We got great service and a free hug, great food and drinks also. I got the stealhead fish sandwich and it was amazing. No photo because it was gone before I realized I hadn't taken one. Impressed, I'll be back.

Four of us for dinner last evening. One of us enjoyed the meal, three of us did not. The brat and the sausage sandwiches were tasteless, the fries were soggy. None of us finished our meals. Beer was good. Won't return
