Beausoleil is the result of a partnership between Michael Boudreaux and Kenny Juban, both of Juban's Creole Restaurant, Jeff Conaway, and Nathan Gresham. Conaway and Gresham will serve as managing partners, with Conaway as the General Manager and Gresham the Executive Chef for Beausoleil.

On August 15th, 2010 The Silver Spoon Restaurant will begin its transformation into a new dining experience. The Silver Spoon's current location in Bocage Village on Jefferson Highway will be closed for a full remodel and "re-inventing" and will open on October 20th as Beausoleil, featuring contemporary Louisiana cuisine in a casual neighborhood bistro environment. Beausoleil's menu will include many customer favorites from The Silver Spoon, to be complemented by new menu creations most of which will be priced under $20. The new restaurant interior will include a stylishly-casual bar featuring an impressive wine and cocktail list.

"From the beginning, this seemed to be a partnership that was just meant to be," comments Michael Boudreaux. "Jeff, Nathan, Kenny and I shared a common vision for what this new restaurant will be. This area is made up of great neighborhoods and an impressive variety of businesses, but it needs a place that locals can call their own – a great neighborhood gathering place. BeauSoleil was designed to fill that void."

The new restaurant interior was designed by local interior designer, Albert Noland, to convey a casual neighborhood bistro environment. "We wanted to create a cool, casual little neighborhood bistro that would be a great place to enjoy an easy lunch or dinner or meet friends for drinks. BeauSoleil will be a really special neighborhood establishment designed with the people who live and work in this area in mind," says Jeff Conaway.
