I do that vent much but this really has me irritated. My husband has been going here for 6 years at least buying cars.. And ill say we had had title problems.. There's been times we go to pick cars up and things were missing like radios,knobs,window switches. And we never said anything. Just figured the lord works how he works.. And today my husband gets accused of tampering with the cars. The owner Kathy is very rude. Inconsiderate of other people.. Just cause you have a little money doesn't make you any better then anyone else. Or make you automatically right about what you think. I will never go to this auction again.. And a highly recommend anyone else do either

Located off HWY 74 in Shelby, NC, Beaver Dam is a smaller auction. They have 4 lanes used at the weekly auction. For the non-dealer, its not ideal location to flip a car. Non-dealers are limited to a small percentage of the vehicles on lot to bid on. A sizable deposit is needed to enter, refunded if no purchase is made. Number varies by date, yet 10 to 40 is the average. Dealers can bid on all inventory, with an average count of 150 to 250. Auctions take place at night, and a website lists some of the inventory along with some photos. Apples to apples, this is a fair starting point in a public allowed dealers auction.

I've been attending auto auctions for 35 years. Beaver Dam, while small, is the most efficient auction I've worked. The staff is efficient and friendly and the buyers and sellers are loyal and consistent. Outstanding company.
