Under the governance of its Board of Directors, Becerra Judo Club is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation dedicated to the teaching of judo, both as an Art of self-defense and as a Sport, which has enjoyed Olympic recognition since 1964.
Grandmaster Humberto Becerra holds an 8th-degree black belt in Judo, 9th-degree black belt in Jujitsu, and 9th-Dan Goju-Ryu Karate. He is a U.S. Army Ranger veteran and former police officer. Now he dedicates his time towards teaching both children and adults the Japanese art of Judo at his Dojo in Garland, Texas.
