The Bedford County Library provides library services to residents of Bedford county.
The library has a collection of 35,000 books, over 1,000 DVDs, 400 audio books, and subscribes to 85 magazines and 7 newspapers.
Inter-Library Loan Service: "If we don't have it, we can get it." To request any book, fill out an Inter-Library Loan from at the circulation desk. We will borrow the book from another library and call you when we receive it. Delivery time is a minimum of two weeks.
Internet access is available free-of-charge at 11 computer stations. The computers are also equipped with Microsoft Office.
We now offer free Wifi to our patrons.
Fax service is available at the library. The cost is $2 for the first page and $1 for each additional page. It costs $1 per page to receive a fax.
