I have the Cairns and wear them in all conditions. Commuting to work, hiking and now even trail running. They work for it all the low profile design keeps me super sleeeeeeek. Their customer service is awesome too. They’ve taken care of me every time I’ve had a concern or question. Terrific product and lovely people.

I ran completely barefoot for several years, around San Francisco, southern California, New Mexico, and Utah. When I moved to Utah, and tried to run in the dark, I wanted something to protect my feet from Goats Head thorns (spawn of the devil and the only things that have ever slowed me down), when I couldn't see what was on the pavement. So, I got a pair of Bedrock Sandals. I'm not as quiet and stealthy as I used to be :-), but I've switched to running in them all the time, except in the snow. I've done tons of hiking in them, lots of runs, worn them all day while on my feet, etc. The only place they weren't so great was trying to hike up the Zions Narrows (get closed toed shoes for that one!), but they held up all the same! They're awesome. When the straps started wearing out, I contacted the company and they helped me replace the straps at a great deal (a great deal!), and adjusted the soles to prevent the new ones from wearing out. Even though I ran barefoot and still look remember it fondly, I'm in love with these sandals.

I live in my Bedrocks full time. I've got over 1500 miles on one pair. The staff is nothing short of amazing. Sandals for happy, dirty hiker feet.
