Story

Since the early 1920's, our family farm has been an important part of the Lake County landscape raising cattle, hogs and grain crops. Now in our 3rd generation, we're excited to bring Beelow's Steakhouse to Lake Zurich. Beelow's is proud to feature locally raised cuts of beef and pork from my brother Duane's prized stock, along with slow-roasted prime rib, absolutely fresh seafood and locally sourced produce. From the moment you arrive, our experienced personnel will guide you through the Beelow's Experience and treat you like family!

My husband and I both ordered our steak medium well (warm pink center). He got the N.Y strip and it was rare. I ordered the ribeye and it was completely well done. We ordered the same exact meal about a year ago and it was perfect. Maybe it was a new cook but being that it is a steakhouse I expect the steak is the most important thing they should learn how to cook.

EXCELLENT food, ambience & AMAZING service, ask for Kathy she's AWESOME, INCREDIBLE timing & attitude!! EXTREMELY professional yet a lot of fun!  First time I was there and plan on going back VERY OFTEN! Unique outside patio with fireplace.  All in all 5 Star!

We have been here 2 years in a row for Easter brunch.  They are quite busy on this holiday but they can handle the crowd well.  There is plenty of seating, they continue to keep the buffet fresh and full, and the omelette/pancake and prime rib/sliced ham stations move along quickly.  We have also had a few dinners here and they do a great job and offer high quality menu items.  My family has always had a great experience here.  Highly recommended.

I'm a big fan. Excellent steaks and overall a very reasonably priced steakhouse. Also, they have a beautiful patio (retractable roof) with fireplaces, TV's, a bar and water feature. It's a very open air patio with a tropical feel. You'd never guess you were in the middle of a parking lot in Lake Zurich.

Great food and portions, most of which is sourced locally (and from the family's own farm) unique bar top. Comfortable booths and a large dining area. Friendly owner, who's happy to talk to you about the menu, and if you're lucky and he's got something new he's going to try cooking you might even get a free sample. Steaks were very fairly priced and delicious.

We each had a 35 oz ribeye an order of fried cheesy bread (delicious) a chef's special smoked pork belly, and the french onion soup.
