The service didn't suck, it just plain didn't exist!!! Bartenders didn't even come close to covering the whole bar. Zero hustle! The only reason they will make money is location. We left and went and got a daiquiri a few places down. Now THEY were friendly and quick! This place isn't a beer fest it's a desert! I took a picture of the bartenders before I left. "Buyer beware!"
Buyer beware - they marked up my tip over 100%. From $9.00 total to $19.00 total. The bartender tried to serve us two beers even though we only ordered one and repeatedly told him we only wanted one. As he was pouring the two beers he was mumbling something to himself about "No bullsh*t, I don't take no bullsh*t". He then got visibly offended when we refused the second beer. Also that one beer was $8.30 pre-tip which came in a plastic cup way less than 16 oz.
Good shot and beer bar that's very chill. Great service and a good spot to relax in the quarter.
Great atmosphere. $9 local IPAs expect max $8 10 beer taps out but still PLENTY to choose from.
When we walked in we were immediately greeted by Lindsay who went about asking us what types of beer we usually liked and provided us with a TON of samples until we found beers that were perfect for our palette. We were made to feel right at home and very well taken care of. The selection of beers is amazing and though on the higher end, it was a great place for my husband and I to stop in being big beer people. Highly recommend this place and we will be going back for sure!
I could see if this place isn't for everyone. It's a shocking chill for Bourbon Street. It doesn't offer sugary drinks in novelty plastic cups. It's definitely divey. But these are all things I love, plus it has an amazing beer selection. Staff could have been a bit more helpful.
I’m huge craft beer guy but honestly settle and go find a bottled or can beer somewhere else. I went here on a Monday afternoon at about 2pm. The place smelled like sewage!!! No tip included I paid $11 for what seemed to be a 12oz pour in a pint size plastic cup of left hand nitro milk stout draft. If you’re on bourbon and are desperate for a nicer beer, then go for it but I’d highly recommend going couple blocks off bourbon and finding some beer elsewhere!!!
If you love beer and are on bourbon street this is the place to go. This has a bunch of beer taps so no matter what you like they will have it. It was a nice place to go to get away from the basic beer and drinks of NOLA. The service was nice and they offer cheap shots with a purchase of beer. They have stouts, porters, IPAs, lagers and even hard seltzer on the tap.
Best bar by far that I visited while in New Orleans. The bartender was amazing really knew her stuff and how to mix you a really great drink. Plus the drink specials were amazing, I left kind of stumbly and only spent about 40 bucks. So definitely recommend this place, the people are also pretty awesome, met a couple of new friends.
Finding this place made my trip to Nola! I had been craving a good IPA after behind away from CA for a few days and seeing the glowing blue beer mug down Bourbon street was like a light at the end of the tunnel! Great selection of beers for whatever your preference may be, friendly staff, easily accessible bathroom, and a casual vibe that is a good break from the crazy dance clubs on Bourbon... come here for fast service and friendly conversation and then take your drink to your favorite dance club, win-win!! Lindsey is the best bartender in New Orleans, possibly the world. She ended up being one of our favorite memories from our recent trip...she cares about the people she's serving, there's too much to say, she's just perfect, go get a good beer or shot from her and tip her good!!!
