We live in the Kansas city area. It's a little over two hours away from junction city, and we would definitely make that drive just to come back and eat here. We both got the chicken sicilliana and it was outstanding. Our server (Phillip) offered the best service I've encountered. He was well educated about the menu, very prompt, very helpful and extremely nice. The food was out quickly, all around fantastic experience.

I would like to offer a favorable review of Bella's but just can't . Last Thursday my husband and I stop in for a late afternoon birthday lunch. Around 2:30. We walked in and was greeted by no one . The host/ hostess was MIA. We waited at least 15 minutes . One table was  currently being served. So in that amount of time , a server had not been at his/ her table serving their customer. Nor anyone to greet and seat guests. This is inexcusable . It gives guest's the opinion that if you don't come at peak business hours, you will not receive excellent service. Can any restaurant afford that kind of reputation ? Especially in a small town like Junction City. Where is your home town hospitality ? We had heard about Bella's Italian food from friends and coworkers. Coming from the south, as a manager of a top rate seafood restaurant . Where guests received exemplary service, and a fine dining experience

Food was decent .. nothing was really hot just mildy warm... asked for half lemonade half tea only got tea asked for extra stuff for meal didn't get all the extras ,maybe it was just one of those days? But the thing that really pushed me over the edge with the place was seeing a worker ( assuming manager or senior worker ) throw a rag at another co worker telling them to clean up .. didn't say anything at all but took note of it all so sorry no names

A Unique Experience!
My wife and I enjoyed it very much. The place is set up to be very cozy with an atmosphere like what you would find across the ocean in a European café. The food was great and so was the service!  Price wise - it is no higher than comparable restaurants and we ate our fill.  We will definitely be back for more!

BE PREPARED TO WAIT... for good food at least. I have come in a handful of times around lunch time and dinner time (about 6 times in 4 months) and only once did they have enough staff.  I'll describe today's events. 10+ tables with 2 at 6 or more people. There were 2 waitresses to handle EVERYTHING (taking orders, taking phone orders, getting food to table, cleaning tables, handling register, and seating people). It wasnt for a lack of trying, but everything took a long time. This was on a Wednesday. 

Why do I keep going back, well the food is pretty good, and the value for the lunch menu is definitely good. What's disappointing here is that I watched our waitress run around the restaurant, apologizing everytime she went to a table, and there was no manager out there helping bring food, clear tables, or seat anyone.
