It's a place made to appear fancier than it actually is, so not a big fan at all. It's just another shopping center. Don't go out of your way to visit here. Pluses: organic food options, delicious food options, convenience(?). Other than that the pretentiousness of the entire "centre" can be summed up nicely if you simply try to drive past the blindingly bright Belmar sign at night without squinting or being annoyed by it. Also I heard someone use the word "luxury" when referring to this place, to which my only response is, "when did we all become so stupid?"

It's clean and modern, very hipster and yuppie. There is a slew of small shops with a number of large anchor stores. And Comcast. You would think that you could find virtually anything here but if you're outside the target demographic, don't count on it. If you're familiar with the area and can walk, you can park for free but anything convenient you will pay.

There are a lot of great stores, restaurants, and entertainment in this outdoor mall. They have a large and fun common area that has a small ice skating rink in the winter months. The parking is less than desirable with most of the convient spots being paid meter street parking. They do have free parking in a garage and another lot by the Dick's Sporting Goods but the location is not central.

I live 20 minutes away, and I still find myself in Belmar frequently. It's a good location for the stores you want all in one location. It's decorated very well too, if you're in to that kinda thing. The biggest pain is parking for free because the free lots are full, so I end up parking a ways from my destination or paying to park. Parking is free after a certain time of night, which is great for a late night movie.

Today's visit, 🍕 "The Crazy Train" deep dish, at The Rock Wood Fired Kitchen. The place is decorated in rebel and looks and feels like it too. Lots of wooden furniture. Feels outdoorsy yet cozy and comfy. Service is great. The 🍕 is mouthwatering! Reasonably priced handmade recipe tossed before your very eyes. The chips with queso dip was 😋
