Only driven by it. There seems to be empty lots for sale near the police station. The reason why no one buys them I suppose besides the fact you can not park on the street.

I live on Mcknight Street. There are a lot of kids that ride their bikes up and down and all around these neighborhoods. These areas have very narrow streets and vehicles consistently do 40 to 45 mph and faster. During school and heavier traffic, this becomes a cut through and then the fun begins. I never see the police. All it would take is to set up on McKnight between the cemetery and Faires beside the tree line. People also cruise through the 4 way stop at speed. Very few even slow down. Please start getting these people that feel the law doesn't pertain to them.

Some are nice some are not I don't know why maybe they're just having a bad day but I do enjoy talking to the nice officer and blue. I would protect you as you should protect me period when I ask a question about my safety being in a certain river area cleaning the water shores I expect an honest answer not mean answer. Hope you guys adjust the mix. Prayers.

Employees are mostly helpful but some are rather quick to profile someone and harass them and then be mad when their judgment was wrong.

It's night time right now and went outside to walk the dog. There was a police car in our neighborhood at the 4-way stop with his spot light on like he was looking for something/someone. I immediately went back into my house (because I heard a noise outside my bedroom window earlier, but assumed it was my neighbor putting something in his trash bin). 

Long story short-I called the police department where a rude lady answered the phone and did not seem the least bit interested in helping me. There are too many good people looking for jobs to have someone that miserable and unhelpful answering your phone lines.  This doesn't make me feel very safe and I can't think of any GOOD reasons for a police officer to have these bright spotlights on.  She answered with "gaston county" and I literally called 5 minutes ago if you even care. Thanks.
