Completely corrupt. Pedophiles dont even get an investigation while people's lives are ruined over something as harmless as pot. Police are supposed to make lives safer but they dont, especially not here. They dont do their jobs, they do what benefits them. It is a system i nor anyone else could have faith in.

I'm not "pro-criminal" or "pro-crime" so please do not take this as a pat on the back. Your job is to enforce the law as you've stated; nothing else. You can skip on going "above and beyond". No need to advertise your arrests, and more importantly the harshest punishment isn't necessarily the most effective. Though I guess it all comes down to how you define effective... Personally I define ineffective as the Lincolnton Police Department.

Better get that marijuana! Very good way of wasting every penny I pay the government. I have never have any respect for ANY marijuana busts. Cigarettes and Alcohol? Go aheaddd take a load off. A joint? *4 Officer's boots on the back of your head and neck as you're pinned down being read your Miranda.

This department sees it as a good thing to take your car, imprison you temporarily while you lose your job and extort you afterwards. How dare law abiding, tax paying adults choose to consume a safer alternative to alcohol and tobacco, that they see fit. The old saying "Drugs will ruin your life" is true. Get pulled over with a plant,and the police will ruin your life for many years.
