I was so excited to try this restaurant. I love all kinds of Kenyan dishes, and the prospect of not needing to drive to Portland or Seattle was appealing. I tried the pilau and the sukuma wiki, it was some of the most disappointing food I've ever had. It was essentially unseasoned nearly-raw vegetables atop dry rice on both counts. None of the bold flavors I would anticipate were present and the texture was mush. In short, I'd rather drive to Portland.

Haven't been to this place in almost a decade.  Was downtown for arts walk and had dinner here.  Great food and great menu selection.  Will definitely be back.

This is my favorite classy grown-up hangout and date spot in oly.  Awesome​ cocktails, food, jazz, blues, poetry, and dancing.  Be prepared to spend some money.
