I've been going here for the past 5 years for Dave Matthews Band Concerts and this year Farm Aid and always manage to have a wonderful time. The atmosphere is great, usually with many like minded campers. They also have bus running to and from the concerts which is convenient. The showers aren't in the greatest shape, but they get the job done and a lot of the area isn't completely flat. Other than that their staff has always been friendly and accommodating. They have wood and ice for sale at the site, during large events, which is an extra convenience. My friends and I will continue to go back for years to come.

TL;DR The "campground" is a glorified driveway that destroys any car that isn't a truck or RV. And there was nobody to check us in at the gate. Being honest people we put our money into the slot as asked. Stayed 15 minutes, chose to leave after having a harrowing experience with other campers, and the owner REFUSES to issue a refund. It is a very bad place to spend $20 PER PERSON. Ridiculous! Owner is a complete jerk and hung up on me twice!

We arrived at 12:00 a.m after the Jimmy Eat World and Incubus concert in July. We found a spot to camp near some other campers, but the night turned into a nightmare!!! There were no security guards or anyone there at the campground to check people in, you just drop your money into the deposit box as you enter the grounds. 
These other campers were back in the woods off the path, and we couldn't see them. They made three very loud banging noises which was promptly followed by a woman shouting, "Please don't hurt me!" We packed our stuff and left immediately. I didn't know what danger these people presented and we called the police!
The state troopers arrived and checked it out. They said it was a drunken argument among the people there and they were finally settling down for the night, but we absolutely were not staying. We left. 
We didn't stay the night, called the lady for a refund, and she refuses to give it because as she said on the phone, "We talked the sheriff, he's a really good friend of ours and he said it was just two drunk people. You overreacted and could've stayed anywhere else on our 90 acres."

According to her, she also stated that because we chose to leave that we are not liable for a refund. She then said that if she had asked us to leave that we would've been given a refund. IN WHAT WORLD are you given a refund for being asked to leave!? If they throw you out you do NOT get your money back.

Perfect place to camp for a show at key bank. $20/person to camp and they offered a shuttle bus to and from the venue for $20 round trip during the shows I went to. Had a great time there for Dead and company the last couple years.

Total ripoff. They take advantage of being so close to the concert venue and don't put any care into their grounds or customer experience.
