Easily the best donut and coffee place in town! I have been going here for over 8 years and I will never go anywhere else. The staff is amazing! After coming back to town after college, they still remembered my order. I love how personable Bennett's is and I can not get enough of their glazed donuts. You won't find any better service, donuts and coffee!

Get there early. They don't plan for Ft. Myers events and more customers. They run out early leaving us unhappy. There was nothing, nothing, not a baked thing, wow. I saw a friend having lunch she was having soup and pointed at it and how watery it was and stired it showing that it didn't have much in it and it seemed to be mostly a creamy broth. She said it  was taking her a long time to eat. Partly due to it being a plastic small spoon to eat it with.  I suggested she drink it. Crazy right! Anyway I can't say anything bad about the donuts because there was none. Here's a novel idea, over bake more than you think you need next time the city is crawling with people if you have leftovers lets say by 1pm discount them. I bet you won't have any trouble selling them. And if they don't sell donate them. There's a soup kitchen not more than 3 miles away. You'll feel good you did your civic duty also.  I have a lot more ideas if you want to hear them.

I though you were in the business of selling donuts not humiliating interracial couples. Stop asking "who is together" and ask "who is next". We were inappropriately asked multiple times if we were together. I was standing with my husband and our child. I feel like you asked to be hurtful. I used to come here once a week but never again. I cant even enjoy my donuts.

I'm uncomfortable with the tone of your last reply  as it suggest that my wife was not standing with me today. My wife was holding my hand! But coming in with me about once a week, and being a loyal customer should certainly serve as a pass to be excused from inappropriate questioning like "are y'all together?" And I see that you said that your store is owned by gay people which is completely irrelevant to the fact that you won't apologize for offending my family for simply standing together. From where we were standing, it looked like you assumed we were apart simply because we are different colors. You continue to be defensive which to  me shows guilt. You saw me hand my child to my wife while I paid and you heard my wife say we would NEVER return to your establishment. Why lie? How could she do that from far away?

I tried the sandwich du jour. It was a fish sandwich with tartar sauce. Very good indeed. I also had some lemon chicken soup that was decent. The food came out hot which is great but the desert (bread pudding) took forever to be brought to our table. The donuts are great! Overall good experience. Will come back for more.
