If you crave salt, this restaurant will not disappoint. The abundance of salt blocks out all other available flavors. We had an extremely salty haystack followed by a pot roast that was also abundantly salty. If you like food heavily salted, this is the place to go.

Since posting the above, I have returned for both breakfast and dinner letting it be known that I prefer to salt my own food and that I am not a fan of food that is heavily salted. I have enjoyed my meals. It is obvious that the owners and staff wish to please and that they posess the tools to do so. If you are not satisfied, let it be known at the time. You will find the establishment receptive and sincere in their quest to please.

The Oasis restaurant is a staple. Celebrating their 29th year in Fort Myers, this restaurant is a favorite of locals. The food is always excellent, the staff friendly and the two ladies who own the joint make a point to visit every table. Known for their delicious, gigantic pancakes, their lunch and dinner items are equally wonderful. 🍽😋

Oasis is a good casual dining experience. It's nothing fancy, but the staff is determined to make your meal enjoyable. 
I particularly like their shrimp dinner and also their patty melt. The patty melt is excellent at 8 dollars and change, whereas the 13+ bucks I paid for Ford's Garage was a complete waste. The ground beef, at Oasis was prepared medium well, just as I ordered it. However, at Ford's it was bloody. 
Oasis always aims to please, and their aim is pretty good.
Everyone from the owner, to the cook and kitchen crew, to the wait staff, is professional and efficient, with a homey friendly aire.

I don't think service or quality is what keep this place in business. It seems that they are more about schmoozing their older clientele.  Service was slow, there seems to be no organization with waiting for table and the food was incredibly Bland.  There were two gentlemen standing up front with at least 7 people in line to pay while only one man was cashing out. The other man was too busy chatting to help him, I guess. Definitely will not be back.  There are plenty of other options close by.
